Scoutmasters, Troop Committee Chairmen, Troop Unit Commissioners:

Venturing, Varsity, and Ship Leaders:

The Tomahawk District has been invited to participate in the City of Sugar Land’s 22nd annual Red, White, and Bluefest on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Oyster Creek Park.  This event attracts families from all over Fort Bend County to celebrate Independence Day and is a great opportunity for the Tomahawk District to increase interest in the Scouting program.  We are looking for at least 30 Scouts (combination of Adult Scouters, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venture Scouts) to participate in the “Faces of America” paraded.  Interested Scouts will need to be ready for assembly, in their Dress (Class A) uniforms, at Oyster Creek Park by 4:30 PM.  The parade will begin at 5:15 PM and will last about a half-hour.

Units interested in participating should please contact:
